• From the President’s Pen: Embracing Our Environmental
Responsibilities
"On this World Environment Day, let's remember that the
conservation of our environment is not just an option, but our duty and
responsibility. Each tree we plant today stands as a testament to our
commitment to a healthier, greener future. I urge everyone to plant at least
one tree. Make 'One Tree, My Duty & Responsibility' your our personal mission. Together, we can make a profound
difference.
Wishing everyone a Happy World
Environment Day!"
Jc Asmita Bohara,
2024 President

The environment is the foundation of our existence,
providing essential resources such as air, water, and food. Protecting and
restoring our environment is vital for the health and well-being of all living
organisms.
Tree plantation plays a crucial role in this process, as
trees absorb carbon dioxide, produce oxygen, prevent soil erosion, and support
biodiversity. By planting trees, we contribute to combating climate change and
ensuring a healthier planet for future generations.
Key Highlights:
• Inaugural Ceremony:
• The event commenced with an inaugural ceremony attended by
local leaders, environmentalists, and JCI Manohara members. Speeches emphasized
the significance of World Environment Day and the collective responsibility to
protect our planet.

members, students, and volunteers who joined hands to plant trees. Their active
involvement highlighted the power of community collaboration in driving

in phases, ensuring that each sapling was planted with care and attention to
its specific needs.
• Commitment Pledge:
