JCI Kavre Hosts Successful School-Level Oratory Competition

Banepa, 16th September 2024 – In an inspiring showcase of youth talent and eloquence, JCI Kavre, in collaboration with JCI Kavre Lady and Banepa Junior Jaycees, successfully organized the School-Level Oratory Competition under the Jaycees in Community initiative. The event, which took place at Gyankunj Shaishik Pratisthan in Banepa, provided a platform for 37 students from local schools to demonstrate their public speaking skills and engage in meaningful discourse on important societal issues.

The competition was graced by Pratap Baidhya, the President of FNCCI Kavre, as the Chief Guest. A panel of distinguished judges evaluated the young speakers, including Jc Indra Narayan Bhaila, Past President of JCI Kavre, Jc Ishwori Bade Shrestha, Past President of JCI Kavre Lady, and Motiram Timalsina, Sub-Editor of Kavre Times.

The event also saw the participation of JCI Sen Sumit Manandhar, the National Training Committee Secretary of JCI Nepal, who attended as a special guest. The event was coordinated by JC Bibek Pury, the Member Growth Chairman of JCI Kavre, with JC Rabina Sewacharya, the Secretary General of JCI Kavre Lady, serving as the Master of Ceremony. JC Rikesh Sainju, President of JCI Kavre, officially adjourned the event.

Fostering Youth Leadership through Oratory

The primary objective of the event was to empower young students by providing them with a platform to express their ideas and opinions on various important topics. Participants not only showcased their speaking abilities but also developed their critical thinking, confidence, and leadership skills.
