JCI Kavre Organizes School-Level Art Competition to Celebrate Creativity and Cultural Heritage

Banepa, 19th September 2024 – The vibrant cultural spirit of Banepa was on full display as JCI Kavre, in partnership with JCI Kavre Lady and Banepa Junior Jaycees, hosted a School-Level Art Competition under the Jaycees in Community initiative at Chandeshwori Temple. The event, which drew over 60 students from local schools, aimed to provide a creative platform for young artists to showcase their talents while connecting them to the rich cultural heritage of the region.

The competition brought together participants from various schools, with each student presenting their unique interpretation of art. Judges for the event, Sazeed Shakya and Rubin Bade, evaluated the artworks based on creativity, technique, and cultural relevance.

The event was coordinated by Jc Sujan Maharjan, General Legal Councilor of JCI Kavre, who emphasized the importance of such initiatives in nurturing young talent. The event’s Master of Ceremony, Jr. Jc Shreya Manandher, Secretary General of JCI Banepa Junior Jaycees, guided the program, ensuring the smooth flow of activities.

The official adjournment of the event was carried out by JC Rikesh Sainju, President of JCI Kavre, who expressed gratitude to all participants and volunteers. "This event is a testament to the creativity and cultural pride that our students hold. It is essential that we continue to support arts education and foster the creative expression of our youth," said Sainju in his closing speech.
