Banepa, 23rd September 2024 – In a significant effort to promote environmental sustainability, JCI Kavre, in collaboration with JCI Kavre Lady, Banepa Junior Jaycees, Banepa Municipality Ward No. 5, Divine Wines, and Chapleti Selfie Dada Upobhokta Samiti, successfully launched Project 'संकल्प', a tree plantation initiative at Chapleti, Banepa. The program aimed to make a lasting environmental impact and inspire the local community to take active steps in environmental conservation.
The event saw the active participation of over 40 individuals who planted more than 200 trees in the region, contributing significantly to the area's greenery. The initiative was part of JCI Kavre’s ongoing commitment to promoting sustainability and engaging the community in the preservation of the environment.
Project 'संकल्प' provided a unique platform for residents and local organizations to come together in the common cause of environmental conservation. The plantation program not only involved tree planting but also emphasized the importance of protecting and nurturing nature for the well-being of future generations.
