JCI Kavre Launches Project "संरक्षण" - Heritage Tales of Banepa

Banepa, Nepal – 27th September 2024 – JCI Kavre, in collaboration with JCI Kavre Lady and Banepa Junior Jaycees, hosted an inspiring event, Project "संरक्षण" - Heritage Tales of Banepa, at the Sopu Hiti Party Palace. The event brought together over 200 participants to celebrate and preserve the rich cultural heritage of Banepa, a town known for its vibrant history and significant landmarks.

The event, held in the scenic surroundings of the Chandeshwori Temple and Sopu Hiti Party Palace, aimed to engage the local community in the preservation of Banepa’s heritage, encouraging both youth and adults to take active roles in protecting the town's cultural landmarks.

Key Figures at the Event

The event was graced by several prominent figures, including the Chief Guest Jc Kanchan Chandra Bade Shrestha, Member of Province Parliament- Bagmati (Past President of JCI Kavre), and the Guest of Honor JCI Sen. Shanti Ratna Shakya, Mayor of Banepa Municipality (Past President of JCI Kavre). Also attending as a Guest of Honor was Bimala Sapkota Dahal, Deputy Mayor of Banepa Municipality.

The event was coordinated by Jc Anish Manandher, Executive Vice President of JCI Kavre, and led by Jc Nirjan Gautam, Community Sector Executive Vice President of JCI Kavre. The Master of Ceremony was Jc Sworup Shakya, Secretary General of JCI Kavre, with the closing remarks delivered by JC Rikesh Sainju, President of JCI Kavre.
