KATHMANDU LADY JAYCEES REPORT 2021(February)
First of all, I would like to express my sincerest thanks to the committee for electing me as the Secretary General of JCI Kathmandu Lady Nepal 2021 and I am deeply honored to have served under the title. It is my duty and pride to announce that the project as per plan of action approved by the 1st Board meeting and 1st General Body Meeting has been successfully executing and following are the report of February 2021.
1.Growth & General
A. Pre Induction
JCI Kathmandu Lady conducted the 1st Pre-Induction program which was held on 7th Feb 2021 at Luna Restaurant, Thamel, Kathmandu. Total 5 new prospective members joined JCI Kathmandu Lady as provisional members.Programe was conducted by Respected Past President 1988 AD,JCI Sharada Manandhar Pandey.
All Meeting
A . Board of Director's Meeting
2nd BOD Meeting was held on 7th feb 2021 at Luna Resturant,Thamel, Kathmandu.22 members and commission directors had participated in the meeting.
B. General Body Meeting
2nd General Body Meeting was held on 7th Feb 2021 at Luna Resturant,Thamel ,Kathmandu under the chairmanship of President JC Rinku Bajracharya Shrestha. Total 26 members had participated in the meeting.
3. Gender Equality ( Sustainable Development goal no 5)
३० माघ २०७७ (१२ फेब्रुअरी २०२१) शुक्रबारका दिन महिला हिंसाको विरोध गर्दै महिलामाथिको हिंसा,अन्त्य, न्याय र समताको माग गर्दै बसन्तपुरदेखि मुलुकको प्रमुख प्रशासनिक केन्द्र हुदै सिंहदरबार अगाडिसम्म मार्चपासमा काठमाडौं लेडि परिबार सहभागी भएका थियौ।
Massive protest rally over regressive laws, to the streets for gender equality after law proposal requiring family approval for women to travel.
Public Relation
KJC members visited the following LOM Programs.
• Attended installation of JCI Patan Lady which was held on 23rd Jan 2021 at 4;00PM at Shakya Party Palace,Lagankhel.President JC Rinku Baj Shrestha, Shrestha, SG JC Sony Shresth, IPP JC Nagina Nakarmi,PP Sen JC Manita Joshi had participated installation program. The chief guest was politician Rabindra Mishra.
• Attended installation of JCI Sindhupalchok and JCI Buddhanilkantha which was held on 25th Jan 2021 at 5;00PM at Panas Banquet, President JC Rinku Baj Shrestha, Shrestha, SG JC Sony Shresth, IPP JC Nagina Nakarmi, PP Sen JC Manita Joshi had participated installation program. The chief guest was Mayor Udhav Prashad Kharel.
• Attended installation of JCI Balkot which was held on 26th Jan 2021 at 4;00PM at Dibyashwori Party Palace,Lokanthali. President JC Rinku Baj Shrestha, Shrestha, SG JC Sony Shresth, IPP JC Nagina Nakarmi,PP Sen JC Manita Joshi had participated the installation program. The chief guest was Dr Migendra Rijal.
• Attended installation of JCI Bhaktapur, JCI Bhaktapur Lady, JCI Bhaktapur Lady Junior which was held on 29th Jan 2021 at Bhaktapur Party Venue,Bhaktapur. President JC Rinku Baj Shrestha, PP Sen JC Manita Joshi, IPP JC Nagina Nakarmi had participated the installation program. The chief guest was Prem Prasad Bhattarai.
• Attended installation of JCI Balaju which was held on 29th Jan 2021 at Nagarjun Party Venue,Balaju. President JC Rinku Baj Shrestha, PP Sen JC Manita Joshi, IPP JC Nagina Nakarmi, SG JC Sony Shrestha had participated the installation program. The chief guest was Tarkeshwor Municipality Mayor Rameshwor Bohora.
• Attended installation of JCI Sakhu which was held on 6th Feb 2021 at Bhakti Bamboo Party Palace,Sakhu. President JC Rinku Baj Shrestha, PP Sen JC Manita Joshi, IPP JC Nagina Nakarmi, SG JC Sony Shrestha, EVP JC Sunita Rajbhandari,EVP JC Tara Thapa,VP JC Sabina Shrestha had participated the installation program. The chief guest was Sakhu Municipality Mayor Subrana Bahadhur Shrestha.
